A pressure sensor that can detect pressure changes of climbing up a single step on a staircase, or even individual pull-ups or push-ups, while consuming 1.3uA at 1Hz. On top of that it supports the I3C Protocol!
We are talking about the latest Capacitive Barometric MEMS pressure sensor from Bosch Sensortec GmbH called BMP581. This is the 1st Capacitive Pressure sensor from Bosch and it can detect pressure fluctuations equivalent to measuring 1/1000 the weight of a mosquito - 7.6ug
